my first etsy shop feature was a hard choice, but in the end, i chose a photographer who captures a mood i am feeling quite strongly at the moment. you may have heard of her before, she’s been on my list of favorites for a while, but it’s very hard to get sick of her photographs. also, as it turns out, she’s got great prices too! photojojo named her one of 20-photographers-whose-work-you-can-actually-afford!
alicia bock’s photography has such a calming and beautiful feel to it, it’s difficult not to love everything in her shop!
maybe this one’s in here just because of the easter weekend that just passed, but i love me some eggs anyday, and what a great photo to hang in a kitchen! i’ll be adding this to my wishlist of house-y things for when we move at the end of the summer. gorgeous!
summer makes me think of bicycles and picnics and sundresses and sandals. instead of a song for a summer anthem, can i use a photograph? because this photo would capture it perfectly. these polaroid sx-70 prints produce just the right amount of that washed-out vintage look.
i like that you can also purchase matting for her photographs so that you can frame them in a standard 11″x14″ frame, since 8″x8″s are usually harder to find and i like how photos look when they’re matted better than just shoved to the edges of the frames anyway.
